Machine tap made of 5% cobalt alloy high-speed steel. The higher heat resistance results in a longer service life. For through threads and blind holes in unalloyed and alloyed steels with a strength of up to 1,000 N/mm² and non-ferrous metals. The thread is cut in a single operation.

The CBN deep-ground flutes ensure that the cutting edges are extremely sharp. For burr-free and chatter-free countersinking, deburring and countersinking. Best results at low cutting speeds.
