Deburrer from RUKO: Precision and efficiency for professional applications

Discover our extensive range of high-quality RUKO deburring tools for professional metalworking. Our deburrers ensure clean, burr-free surfaces on drill holes, edges and pipes - from steel and aluminium to plastics. Whether deburring tools for metal, manual deburrers for precise finishing or comprehensive deburring sets for different applications: Here you will find the right solution for efficient and safe deburring.

Which deburrer is the right one depends on the material, bore size and application - from manual deburrers for edges, to internal and external deburrers for bores, to double deburrers for sheet metal or pipe deburrers for pipe processing.

Versatile deburrers for different requirements

Our range includes various deburring tools that are customised for specific applications:

  • High-speed deburrer with HSS blade: Ideal for fast and efficient deburring work on edges and drill holes. The replaceable blade enables a long service life and precise results.
  • Double deburrer with HSS cutting discs: Perfect for deburring both sides of sheet metal and plates up to a material thickness of 10 mm. The adjustable HSS cutting discs ensure optimum adaptation to different material thicknesses.
  • Unigrat sets: Versatile deburring systems with numerous blades for different materials and applications. They enable the deburring of holes and edges both from the inside and outside.

RUKO deburrers offer a reliable solution for typical applications such as deburring holes in metal, pipe deburring and finishing cut edges.

Advantages of RUKO deburring tools

RUKO deburrers impress with their practical design, high accuracy and reliable results in daily use.

  • Clean edges - less rework: RUKO deburring tools reliably remove burrs from drill holes, edges and pipe ends. This not only improves the appearance, but also the accuracy of fit during assembly work and reduces the risk of injury.
  • Quick and easy blade change: Many manual deburrers have a tool-free quick-change system. Replacement blades can be changed easily - perfect for efficient work in the workshop and production.
  • Reproducible results: Precisely manufactured HSS blades and ergonomic handle systems ensure consistent results. This ensures consistent quality, especially with repeated use.
  • Long-lasting HSS blades: The HSS deburring blades used are highly resistant to wear.

High-quality materials for durable tools

Our deburrers are made from high-quality high-speed steel (HSS), which is known for its hardness and wear resistance.

Ergonomic design for comfortable working

The deburring tools from RUKO are equipped with ergonomically shaped handles that ensure a secure grip and comfortable working. Some models have back sections that can be unscrewed to store spare blades, which makes handling even easier.

Areas of application and possible uses

Our deburring tools are suitable for various materials and applications:

  • Metals: Steel, aluminium, brass, copper
  • Plastics: Various types of plastic
  • Sheet metal processing: Deburring edges and holes in sheet metal and plates
  • Pipe processing: Internal and external deburring of pipes

This makes them suitable for various applications in industry, trade, workshops and assembly.

Optimum results through correct application

To achieve clean and burr-free results, deburrers should be used with controlled contact pressure. A smooth cutting action extends the service life of the deburring blades. Surface quality and process reliability are significantly influenced by the right combination of tool, blade and application technology.

Typical deburring mistakes - and how to avoid them

Even when using high-quality deburring tools, incorrect use can lead to quality problems. The most common causes are

  • Excessive pressure: Excessive contact pressure often leads to uneven chamfers, material chipping or faster wear of the deburring blade.
  • Unsuitable blade for the material: Different materials require suitable cutting geometries. An incorrect blade can lead to burr breakage, unclean cutting edges or increased tool wear.
  • Stable tool guidance: A tilted or unevenly guided deburring tool often produces uneven edges and impairs the surface quality. A stable, even guide significantly improves the result.

FAQs Deburrer

Our deburrers are suitable for a wide range of materials - especially where edges, drill holes or pipe ends need to be deburred quickly and cleanly. Typical materials are

  • Steel / structural steel: Ideal for deburring cut edges, drill holes and profiles. For even results, a smooth cut with moderate pressure is recommended.
  • Aluminium: Very suitable, especially for edges and drill holes. A low contact pressure is important so that the material does not "smear" and the edge remains clean.
  • Brass & copper (non-ferrous metals): Can also be deburred very well, e.g. when processing pipes and fittings or on sheet metal parts.
  • Plastics: RUKO deburring tools are also suitable for many plastics. A controlled, light cut is crucial here to avoid chipping or frayed edges.

Depending on the area of application (e.g. edge deburring, internal/external bore deburring or pipe deburring), the choice of the right deburrer or deburring blade is crucial: with a suitable blade type and clean guidance, you can achieve burr-free edges in the materials mentioned, reduce reworking and improve the accuracy of fit during assembly and screwing work.

Manual deburrers or high-speed deburrers with rotating HSS deburring blades and flexible unigrat systems are particularly suitable for deburring drill holes. These enable both internal and external deburring of drill holes and adapt well to different diameters. Double deburrers with cutting discs can also be useful for thin sheets or deburring on both sides. It is important to choose the right blade for the material and to apply a uniform, low contact pressure to ensure clean chamfers without chatter marks.

For aluminium, a very sharp HSS deburring blade with a suitable cutting geometry for non-ferrous metals is recommended. Aluminium tends to smear, so it should:

  • work with low pressure
  • a clean, sharp blade should be used
  • use a cooling lubricant if necessary

This produces clean, burr-free edges without material build-up or chatter marks. Special blades for soft metals usually deliver the best results.

It is generally easy to change the blade on a RUKO high-speed deburrer: The deburring blade is pulled out of the holder and a new blade is inserted until it clicks securely into place. Many models also have an unscrewable handle end for storing spare blades, which makes replacement particularly user-friendly. It is important to use only suitable original or compatible blades to ensure optimum function and safety.

The service life of an HSS deburring blade depends heavily on the material, application and working method. Influencing factors are

  • Material (e.g. aluminium vs. stainless steel)
  • Contact pressure and cutting speed
  • Blade coating and quality
  • Continuous or sporadic use

When used correctly, high-quality HSS blades can be used for a very long time. Excessive pressure or incorrect blade selection, on the other hand, can quickly lead to wear or unclean results.
