Concrete drills and drilling tools for stone and masonry

The RUKO range includes concrete drills and other drilling tools for concrete, stone and masonry – including SDS-plus hammer drills with 2 or 4 cutting edges and hammer percussion drills. The tool best suited to your application depends on the material, the machine and the drill diameter.

Drilling tools by material and application

The following overview shows which drilling tool is suitable for different materials and applications.

Material / ApplicationAppropriate drilling tool
Concrete and reinforcementSDS-plus hammer drills with 2 cutting edges
Granite, concrete, clinker, stone, masonry, and concrete reinforcementSDS-plus hammer drills with 4 cutting edges

In addition, the shank and tool holder should be compatible with the machine being used.

SDS-plus hammer drill bits for concrete and masonry

Hammer drilling combines percussive and rotational movements. While the drill cuts through the mineral material, the spiral flutes carry the resulting drill cuttings away from the drill hole, thereby facilitating a continuous drilling process.

RUKO offers SDS-plus hammer drill bits with 2 and 4 cutting edges. The 2-cutting-edge hammer drill bit features a patented cutting edge design based on the bionic principle. The stabilised head geometry and rounded cutting edges are designed for a long service life in concrete and reinforced concrete, while the Twinmax 3D flute profile ensures reliable removal of drill cuttings.

The 4-cutting-edge version expands the range for applications in granite, concrete, clinker, stone and masonry. The 4 cutting edges enable higher productivity. The choice of version depends on the material to be worked on and the requirements of the specific drilling job.
