Technically perfect: The new ULTIMATECUT countersink from RUKO

Specially developed chip space parameters such as rake angle, transition radius and the extra wide flute ensure optimum chip and heat removal. As a result, the ULTIMATECUT has a very long tool life. In addition, the new geometry counteracts material welding and reduces the countersinking forces enormously. Significantly less feed force is now required during the countersinking process. Materials can be machined at both very high and low cutting speeds without any loss of quality in the countersinking result. The specially developed, variable relief grinding ensures a very smooth and up to 30% faster countersinking process.

In the development of the taper countersink, RUKO specifically focused on an equal pitch of the cutting edges. An independent test on the ULTIMATECUT and countersinks of competitors with unequal pitch of the cutting edges, carried out by the Technical University of Darmstadt, confirms the advantage of the equal pitch. Thus, significantly less lateral forces act on the tool from RUKO. The result is less wear and very smooth running, which in turn leads to an optimum surface of the countersink.

Den ULTIMATECUT gibt es in den Werkstoffen HSS und HSSE-Co 5, jeweils als blanke sowie in einer beschichteten Variante. Die neue RUnaTEC Beschichtung (RUKO nano TECHNOLOGY) steigert die Leistung des Kegelsenkers zusätzlich und ist außerordentlich verschleißfest. Die Beschichtung zeichnet sich durch eine sehr hohe Warmhärte von bis zu 1.200°C aus und ist für die extrem glatte Oberfläche der Senkung verantwortlich. Sie wirkt zusätzlich Materialaufschweißungen entgegen und ist für normale und Hochleistungszerspanung geeignet.
