Changeover to plastic cassettes
Towards the end of the year, we will replace the majority of our assortments in sheet steel cassettes with corresponding plastic boxes. We are thus following a market development that started many years ago.
We therefore ask you to order these alternative articles in plastic cassettes with immediate effect.
Why we chose the plastic cassettes
Plastic cassettes leave a smaller carbon footprint because they are much lighter. As a result, less energy is required during transport and production.
Plastic cassettes are also more robust in terms of durability. They cannot bend or rust, which extends longevity and makes storage much easier.
They also fit well in the hand and can be opened and closed quickly without jamming.
By making this change, we are reducing complexity in our program and making room for new sustainable packaging solutions that are already in the pipeline.
