Privacy policy of RUKO GmbH Präzisionswerkzeuge
This website is provided by RUKO GmbH Präzisionswerkzeuge, Robert-Bosch-Str. 7-11, 71088 Holzgerlingen ("RUKO"). Please read this data protection declaration carefully and do not use this website if you do not agree with the procedures described herein in whole or in part.
When this data protection declaration speaks of "we", "us" or "our" etc., this refers to RUKO. Terms such as "you", "your" etc. refer to you as a user of the website, regardless of whether you register on the website in any way or not.
Data protection - Data processing when using the website
Whenever you access https://ruko.de, information is automatically logged in log files that your browser sends to us, which also applies to the calling up of files (browser type/browser version, operating system used, referrer URL and time of server request). We use your IP address for this purpose. We do not collect personal data about the use of our website. A consolidation of the data logged during access with other data sources is not carried out.
We therefore do not use any data collected from you in the course of accessing our website in order to identify you personally, but only to optimise our website.
Data protection - Communication via e-mail, contact form, telephone or fax
If you contact us via e-mail, fax, telephone, participation cards in the context of contests or via one of the contact forms available on our website and provide us with personal data, we will use your data to contact you and, if necessary, to initiate and implement a contract, as we may derive from your request. Your data will only be passed on to third parties within the legally permissible framework. Furthermore, we would like to point out that security gaps can occur during data transmission on the Internet (e.g. via e-mail). A complete protection against access by third parties is not possible.
If we use your personal data with your consent or due to protection of legitimate interests for the purpose of advertising our products, you can revoke your consent at any time or object to the use of your data for the purpose of product advertising at any time (by post, e-mail, fax or telephone). Your data will then no longer be processed and used by us for these purposes.
Use of Google Analytics
The websites https://ruko.de use the web analysis service "Google Analytics" of Google Inc. through which so-called "cookies" (smaller text files) are stored on your computer. By means of these "cookies" an analysis of the use of the website is possible. The information generated by a cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google Inc. server in the USA and stored there.
IP anonymisation: As a rule, Google's IP address is shortened beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other states that are parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA). In exceptional cases, your full IP address may be transferred to a US server of Google Inc. and thus be shortened only in the USA.
On behalf of RUKO, Google Inc. will use this information to evaluate your website use. This collected data is not combined with other data from Google. For this purpose we have concluded a contract with Google for commissioned data processing and thus fully implement the strict requirements of the German and European data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
If you do not wish cookies to be stored, you can prevent this by making the appropriate setting in your browser. However, we explicitly point out that in this case not all functions of https://ruko.de will be available to you. For cases in which you only wish to prevent the processing of data by Google Inc., you can download and install a so-called browser plugin on the following website: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
Further information on the use of data for advertising purposes by Google, as well as setting and objection possibilities, can be found on the websites of Google:
- https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites?hl=en ("HOW GOOGLE USES INFORMATION FROM SITES OR APPS THAT USE OUR SERVICES")
- https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=en ("How Google uses cookies in advertising") and

Web beacons and pixels
This website may contain web beacons, also called pixel tags or tracking pixels. A web beacon is a mostly transparent graphic element, usually no larger than 1 x 1 pixel, that is used on the website or in an e-mail to provide more detailed information about the user's online behavior. Web beacons are used by third-party technologies to monitor user activity on our website. They allow us to track which computer has accessed a particular web page, when it was accessed and from where (at country/city level).
Privacy policy for the use of YouTube
Our website uses plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of our sites equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited.
If you are logged in to your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
